  • Drink/feed stations

Mandatory kit:

All Dig Deep races are run under Trail Running Association (TRA) guidelines and therefore, full Fell Runners Association (FRA) required for all distances; 10km, 1/2 marathon, 30 mile & 50 miles.

FRA mandatory kit is:

  • Whole waterproof body cover with taped seams and permanent hood

  • Hat

  • Gloves

  • Map showing the route

It is the responsibility of the runner to come prepared with mandatory kit and all decisions are at the discretion of the race director. Random kit check will take place both at the start and finish of the event. If a runner is found to be without mandatory kit during this process, they will be disqualified and omitted from the results.

Checkpoints/Aid Stations:

All checkpoints will have water available for runners but we ask that all runners do their utmost to be self-sufficient. Some checkpoints will also be classed as "feed stations"; We do our best to have a selection of food to cover as many personal preferences and medical conditions but we do ask that if you have any specific dietary requirements, you provide your own nutrition on race day.
